At present, there is a controversy about whether halogenated brominated flame retardants should be used in the industry, but the flame retardant ability of traditional non-brominated flame retardants needs to be improved. According to Liu Qibo, TM flame retardant developed independently by the company can form a fire protection film in the same position, terminate the combustion process and greatly reduce the generation of smoke. At the same time, the flame retardant effect of the TM flame retardant with 0.5% lock fire can reach 30% of the commercial product. Its biggest bright spot is that the product contains silicon, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, boron and other common elements in soil and fertilizer components, without any toxic ingredients. Fire-locking TM flame retardant is water-based flame retardant, with strong penetration and simple processing.
 
According to Liu Qibo's original fire-locking TM theory, through the use of a closed fire-retardant approach, a small amount of molecular material with optimized configuration is selected for the outer layer of combustible substances, or it is fully filled into the combustible substances by adsorption, and a micro-fire protection layer is prepared. The molecular material in the protective layer is isotopically solidified by the heat energy from the flame during the fire process, resulting in the formation of a micro-fire protection layer. Dense and solid fire-retardant isolation layer, so as to achieve the purpose of flame retardant.
 
It is understood that flame retardants in the domestic market are generally classified into organic halogen series, organic phosphorus series and inorganic series. Among them, the highest flame retardant efficiency is organic halogen system, the price is moderate, the market share is more than half, but the combustion smoke is large, releasing toxic corrosive gases; the volatility of organic phosphorus flame retardants is large, thermal stability is poor; the addition of inorganic system is large, affecting the physical and mechanical properties of materials.
